These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your purchase and use of digital books and reader access sold on this website (the “Site”). Please read them before buying. By completing a purchase you confirm that you accept these Terms.
The books on this Site are created and sold by Vlad Bucoveanu, a sole proprietor trading as “AllVlad” (“the Author”, “we”, “us”).
Contact address: Vong La, Thien Loc, Hanoi, Vietnam.
Support email: allvlad@gmail.com
Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record (the reseller) for your purchase. This means that while the Author supplies and licenses the book itself, your payment contract for the transaction is with Paddle. Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase and are available at paddle.com.
You are buying a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read a specific book through the protected online reader on this Site. You are not buying ownership of the text, and no downloadable copy is provided unless explicitly stated. Access is granted to the email address and access code issued to you after purchase.
After a successful payment, an access code is generated and sent to the email address used at checkout, normally within a few minutes. You unlock the book by entering your email and access code on the reader access page. If you do not receive your code, check your spam folder and then contact us at allvlad@gmail.com and we will help.
Your access code is personal to you. You agree not to share it, publish it, or allow others to use it. You agree not to copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from the text, in whole or in part, and not to attempt to circumvent the technical protections of the reader. The work is protected by copyright, which remains with the Author.
Prices are shown on the Site in euro (EUR) and may be presented in your local currency at checkout by Paddle. As Merchant of Record, Paddle calculates, collects, and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, which may be added at checkout depending on your location.
Because the book is digital content that becomes available to read immediately, specific refund rules apply. These are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, but by choosing to activate your access (unlocking and opening the book) before that period ends, you agree that your statutory right of withdrawal is lost and the purchase becomes non-refundable, except where required otherwise by law.
We aim to keep the reader available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and we may update or correct the text. If access is permanently withdrawn through our fault, and you are unable to read a book you paid for, contact us and we will restore access or arrange a fair remedy.
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, the Author’s total liability arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. The books are works of literary memoir provided “as is” for personal reading.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the Author’s place of residence, Vietnam, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. [This clause should be reviewed with a qualified adviser for your target markets, in particular the EU.]
